Joy-Con 2 in a Grip but Not Charging

The standard Joy-Con 2 Grip does not charge. The separately sold Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip is the charging accessory.

Why this happens

The two Nintendo products have similar names and shapes but different charging functions.

What to check

1. Read the exact product name on the grip or package.
2. If it is the standard Grip, move Joy-Con 2 to the console body or the Charging Grip.
3. For the Charging Grip, check the supported USB cable and power connection.
