Original Joy-Con Will Not Charge on Switch 2

Original Joy-Con can pair wirelessly with Switch 2 but cannot attach to or charge from its body.

Why this happens

The original rail system and Joy-Con 2 magnetic attachment and charging arrangement are different.

What to check

1. Check whether the controllers are original Joy-Con or Joy-Con 2.
2. Charge original Joy-Con on an original Switch or a compatible original Joy-Con charging grip or stand.
3. Pair them wirelessly with Switch 2 after charging.
